      Description

      Hi,

      I have a 2 redis inputs on the logstash processor. Sometimes the connection to redis is gone. I am not sure yet why the connection is gone. Nothing in the logs so far.
      My question is, is there a reconnect feature like in the redis output (reconnect_interval)? Or any other way to force that logstash reconnects again to redis?
      At the moment I have to restart logstash in order to get it reconnect and to process events again.

      The config looks like this.

      input {

         # Process consumes all events from
         # all agents via this queue

         redis {
              host => ["env1-redis-n1.mydomain.com"]
              port => 63791
              key => "my_logs"
              password => "xxx"
              data_type => "list"
              threads => 1
              batch_count => 20
              debug => true
          }

         redis {
              host => ["env1-redis-n2.mydomain.com"]
              port => 63792
              key => "my_logs"
              password => "xxx"
              data_type => "list"
              threads => 1
              batch_count => 20
              debug => true
          }
      }
