Logstash will not bind to interface bond0

Description

I have elasticsearch running on centos 6.4 and using:

1 network.host: _bond0:ipv4_

Which works fine. When logstash starts it binds to the first available ethx interface and ignores bond0.

I included bind_host in my logstash config but the result is the same:

1 2 3 4 5 6 output { elasticsearch { cluster => "logstashcms" bind_host => "ip address of bond0" } }

The logstash instances always bind to the wrong interface address:

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 { name: Torso transport_address: inet[/10.244.73.154:9301] <-- IP of ethx not bondx hostname: hostname of cluster member version: 0.90.3 attributes: { client: true data: false } }

I don't know if I'm missing something config-wise or if this is a bug. Thanks!
